Vinyl of the Day: Bo Didley/Chuck Berry, Two Great Guitars

Two Great Guitars (1964) is a unique rock & roll / blues album produced from the partnership of two truly guitar greats: Bo Didley & Chuck Berry. Two Great Guitars (Checker 2991) came about when Chuck Berry turn up at the Chess studios (Chicago) while Bo Diddley was in cutting a session, and they create something together. The result was a pair of extended guitar workouts that were genuinely unique for their time as no rock & roll record had previously featured extended jams of this length or showcased the skills of a pair of guitarists of this caliber. Two Great Guitars is a rock n’ roll classic you will enjoy!
