The Killers Pressure Machine (2021) is gritty. It is a collection of songs probing the human feelings and emotions of small-town America lives, relationships, blessings and tragedies. Each song stands on its own and a key component of a life mosaic. I had little familiarity with The Killers music until I listened to this album, then found it on repeat-play in my head. My copy (Island Records – 00602438291755) is very cleanly pressed yet omits the song-preceding dialogs that aids the storytelling. The dialogs are included in streamed and digital copies. I recommend you carve out some time to listen to Pressure Machine and hope you enjoy it.
